Thanks to Rensai for sending me this. It just made shake my head back and forth. Obviously while laughing. It’s a bit old but I don’t think it’s one of those things that really matters how old it is. There are just some moments that took me by surprise. I think they involve the word FUCK. Enjoy!
It makes me feel like making a video to scream about how Disney is totally not living up to Steamboat Willie’s name.
In the next couple of days I’m going to be sending out private messages to people who applied for the new Squad telling them if they’ve made it in or not. And I’d like to urge everyone who gets accepted, as well as those who did not, to please keep it to themselves until I announce it myself. This is because I’d like to have everything ready at the same time. Including a new Squad page, teaching those who don’t know about how to use WordPress, and some other good stuff I have commanded myself to keep a secret.
This isn’t going to be like the past Squad. At least I’m going to try my hardest to keep it on the right course. But, inevitably, it is up to the individuals who are chosen to help PoB succeed. It seems that, every year, PoB evolves or changes or mutates into something more. And I hope this one will be a beneficial mutation like an extra arm or being able to shoot fire out of your eyes.
The one thing about this shift that saddens, but does not dishearten, me is the outright loss of Mythos from the Squad. He has seen fit to look for other paths within this little community of ours and I salute him. At least until he hits an e-gold mine and leaves us.
The Squad is also going to be much smaller. Anywhere from 3-4 people, not counting myself. I’d like to think of quality over quantity, a complete reversal of my past belief. And for all who applied yet do not make it, it is not out of preference or arrogance. All applications I’ve read have been exceptional but what I’m looking for now is consistency, dedication and, selfishly, competition.
Be looking out for massive changes, microscopic changes, and everything between.

First of all, I just want to say thank you to Mythos for reintroducing me to Bo Schitt. If you don’t know Bo Schitt, you may notice that the first DEM ever was of his Billy Mays VS Vince video (which is kind of… sad now). If I would have to pinpoint one Gmod machinima maker as the best, it’s Bo Schitt. There is not a single series I’ve seen that has made me laugh harder than Idiot Box. Obviously, you can find all of DasBoSchitt’s work on his Youtube page. Enjoy! I know I did!

And this was fun. Even if it turned out terrible.
I think the best time to send a place into chaos is generally right around the time I’m leaving for vacation and by the time I get back things will have settled down or everyone is dead. Either way, win-win.
That is why I have completely liquidated the entire Squad. Both on the blog and on the forums. On the forums, however, I have left the basic moderation team in place just for the sake of keeping things running.
What does this mean? Well, if you were once on the Squad, now you’re not. Why is that? Lately, I’ve actually been feeling really lame about PoB, to be honest. No one posts on the blog, no one makes comics, etc. So, why would you be in a Squad completely based on that? No, I’ve decided to start clean. Go back to the good ol’ days when it was just me. For now.
This is also due to my recent change in opinion on what PoB is going to be in the future. A heavier focus on well-written articles, news, little things like Deus Ex Machinima; and since Gmod comics are becoming few and far between, a lesser dedication to trying to drag it along. I will be opening Sign Up’s back up soon. They’re not going to be looking for the same thing. They’re going to be looking for active members looking to continue to be active and benefit PoB as a whole.
Now, to previous Squad members, don’t feel discouraged. You are just as likely to get back on the Squad as someone else trying to sign up. As long as you’re active.
I’ve been sitting on this one for a while now. I found it hilarious.
So, for the next three days I’m going to be off in a place we label as “nature.” So you probably won’t see me on much at all. If anything, you’ll see me on Windows Messenger on my phone. I’m actually going to take my laptop and see if I can figure out how to tether.
But, if that doesn’t work, you’re going to be hearing from me only through Twitter.
And then I get back on Monday, only to go straight to work. Then I Monday night and early Tuesday free, and then back to work, and then I might have Tuesday night. But I may also be leaving early to go out-of-state. If I do, then I’ll be gone until Thursday or Friday. Still, you can follow me through Twitter, and if I get tethering to work, it’ll almost be like I’m not even gone. I really wanted to get Fuel On Fire released before this all began but now it seems near impossible. There’s still Monday and Tuesday, though.
